"From the ZAZ "966" (with the same rear air-cooled engine), also a prototype of minivan was obtained. The "Maxi" (three pics above) was realized in the 1966-67 by the VNIITE, a Russian design institute: it had several interesting features, as the "space-frame" with coachwork realized in fiberglass, the adjustable pedal block and the seats turnable of 180 degrees: many of these characteristics are present on the MPV vehicles today!"
