My name is Lukas Miklas and I am writing to you from the Czech Republic.
I am the owner of a Jawa 350 Type 18 motorcycle manufactured in 1953. The frame number of the motorcycle is 18-03338-53.
I recently discovered that this motorcycle has a remarkable history. According to the Finnish museum vehicle certificate issued in 2010, "Anssi Resko started his racing career on this motorcycle." The certificate also states that the history of the motorcycle has been recorded on a separate document.
As a passionate admirer of motorcycle history, I am trying to learn more about both this motorcycle and Mr. Anssi Resko. Several years ago I found an old YouTube video showing Anssi Resko racing on this very motorcycle, but unfortunately the video is no longer available and I have not been able to find it again.
Therefore, I would like to kindly ask for your help.
Do you have any information, photographs, race results, archived documents, magazines, films or videos related to:
Anssi Resko,
his early racing career,
Jawa motorcycles he rode,
or specifically Jawa 350 Type 18, frame number 18-03338-53?
I would be extremely grateful for any information or advice on where I could continue my search.
This motorcycle means a great deal to me and I would love to preserve not only the machine itself, but also its history for future generations.
